Letters to Our Daughters

Letters to our Daughters {March}

Note: I am part of a lovely women’s photography community (professionals & hobbyists) and this morning we are on part two of a monthly project called “Letters to our Daughters”.  Each month we dedicate a blog post to our daughters and link each others’ posts (otherwise known as a blog circle).  Thank you to all who have been following the project and welcome if you are new! {march 2013}

"A divine dance appears in the soul and the body at the time of peace and union. Anyone can learn the dance, just listen to the music." - Rumi

My sweet little munchkins.  I love writing to you.  Today I just wanted to thank you, V.  Some days are hard and I can see your effort.  I see you working with me to get through moments you don't want to be in.  Your sister is still a big ball of open emotion but you are maturing.  You know when I'm having a hard time, you can see me.  And you try.  It's so incredible.  You articulate yourself so well it takes my breath away.  And you are such a sweet sister....singing songs when your sissy is down.  Making funny faces when she looks bored.  I'm so lucky to be your mother.

Last night you intentionally gave me a hug and a kiss because you wanted to "fill my bucket" - I'm going to make sure yours is overflowing today.  I love you.
