Maternity Sessions
Maternity Sessions are portrait sessions that celebrate the changes that occur for parents during the baby's gestation period. This is often celebrating a belly but not always. These can be done in a documentary or more styled fashion.
Birth Stories
From the onset of active labor to one-hour post birth, Birth Stories document your baby's birthday and are one of the best family heirlooms out there. I go on-call for you for 4-6 weeks and meet you when your baby says it's time.
Fresh Baby Sessions
This session is done in the birth space typically within 24 hours of baby's birth. I love documenting some of your first feedings, snuggles, and family members coming to meet baby for the very first time. Documentary vibes using soft natural window light.
Newborn Sessions
For newborn sessions, I join you in your home about 1 week after baby is born for lovely portraits of your baby. I set up next to a window and get all sorts of sweet newborn images and also include family/sibling snuggles as well.

BABY SESSIONS FAQ
What is your pricing for these sessions?
I have very simple, all-inclusive pricing structure. All baby-related sessions (besides Birth) are $750 and include the session fee plus a download of 20+ edited, print-ready images. Birth Sessions start at $1800 and include hundreds of images (# depends on length of birth). I can arrange a photography "registry" for your friends & family as well. Please contact me for detailed packages.
How do you schedule these sessions?
For birth, fresh baby, and newborn, I schedule in a flexible block using your guess date as a guide. When you notify me you are in labor or had your baby, we then finalize when I will come to see you. For maternity sessions, many parents like to schedule around 34-36 weeks for a first baby and 30-32 for subsequent pregnancies.
How does payment and booking work?
50% off the package fee is due at booking. The remainder is due 3 days before the session or 2-3 weeks prior to your EDD (for Birth & Fresh 48). I will also send a contract & questionnaire to be completed as part of your booking. Payment can be made with a credit card or the popular cash apps.
For Birth Stories, how do you know when to come?
During your pregnancy, we talk a lot about your birth plan and your prior birth experiences (if applicable). When you have signs of early labor, I work with you and your labor team to decide when to come. If I am there too early, mamas can get discouraged, so I try hard to get right in that sweet spot of the beginning of active labor. Sometimes I drive to you but wait to go inside. It's a very individual decision.
Will you share my images?
I do not share sensitive images (birth, breastfeeding, etc) without permission. Other, non-sensitive images (regular family photos, swaddled newborn, etc) may be shared - unless you are against it. It's completely up to you.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been at this professionally for 13 years but made photos as a hobby prior to that as well. I started in weddings but quickly found that I LOVED baby & birth!
