You may have noticed a new tab on my site under Personal Projects called "52 in 2015". This is a personal photography project where I have a theme/assignment each week of the year (ex "low light", "black & white", etc) and I select one image per week, resulting in a gallery of 52 representing the year 2015. I know it sounds easy enough but it's actually really tough! Professional photographers are notoriously terrible at creating images for ourselves/ our own families. I'm happy to have a group of fellow photographers keeping me accountable because I'm not sure I could do it without the reminders.
I'd recommend the project to everyone, regardless of where you are in your photography journey. Practice is good for all of us! Some people do 365 projects which I know for SURE I couldn't keep up with! Maybe one day. :)
